Objective:

1. General Policy:
Noble College of Nursing & Medical Sciences is committed to maintaining high academic, ethical, and professional standards. All policies follow the regulations of the Pakistan Nursing & Midwifery Council (PNMC), Khyber Medical University (KMU), and other relevant authorities.
1. Academic Responsibility: – Students are responsible for their learning, attendance, and timely completion of academic requirements.
2. Attendance: – A minimum of 75% attendance in theory and clinical/practical sessions is mandatory for examinations.
3. Code of Conduct: – Discipline, respect for faculty and peers, and upholding the dignity of the nursing profession are essential.
4. Dress Code: – Prescribed uniform must be worn during academic and clinical sessions.
5. No Smoking Zone: – The entire campus is strictly smoke-free.
6. Food & Drinks: – Eating and drinking are prohibited inside classrooms, labs, tutorial rooms, and the library.
7. Mobile Phones: – Mobile phone use is not allowed in classrooms or clinical areas.
8. Politics & Media: – Students must not engage in political activities or unauthorized communication with media on behalf of the College or Hospital.
9. Visitors & Communication: – Visitors are not allowed without prior permission.
10. Assessment & Examinations: – Internal and final exams will be held as per KMU and PNMC regulations.
11. Use of Facilities: – Laboratories, the library, and computer resources must be used responsibly for academic purposes.
12. Fee Policy: – Fees and dues must be paid on time; otherwise, enrollment may be suspended and results withheld.
13. Practical Training: – Clinical training at Saidu Group of Teaching Hospitals (SGTH) and other affiliated institutions is compulsory.
14. Zero Tolerance: – Harassment, substance abuse, cheating, or misconduct will result in strict disciplinary action.
15. Continuous Improvement: – The College reserves the right to review and revise policies, programs, and regulations when necessary.
2. Admission Policy:
Our admission policy is fair, transparent, and merit-based, welcoming eligible applicants based on seat availability and institutional criteria.
- Admission Announcement: Advertised through social media and other platforms.
- Application Submission: Completed application form with required documents before deadline.
- Eligibility Check: Verification of academic qualifications and entrance exam scores (if applicable).
- Entrance Test/Interview: Required as per program requirements.
- Merit-Based Selection: Admission based on academic performance, entrance test results, interview, and seat availability.
- Final Enrollment: Completion of fee payment, document verification, and registration.
3. Attendance Policy:
- Mandatory attendance: 75% in all academic and clinical activities.
- Absence margin: 25% allowance covers emergencies/illness only.
- Leave applications: Must be submitted with valid documentation.
- Tardiness: More than 10 minutes late is marked absent. Three lates = one absence.
- Unauthorized departure: Leaving sessions without permission will be marked absent.
- Prolonged absence: Two consecutive weeks without permission may result in suspension or termination.
4. Clinical Policy:
100% attendance is expected during clinical rotations; up to 10% absence may be made up.
- Make-up Policy: Informed absence requires 1 make-up duty + assignment. Uninformed absence requires 2 make-up duties + assignment.
- Professional Conduct: Unsafe or unethical behavior will result in disciplinary action.
- Dress Code: Prescribed uniforms and ID must be worn.
- Personal Hygiene: High hygiene standards required; only minimal accessories allowed.
- Reporting: Illness must be reported; clearance may be required before return.
5. Dress Code Policy:
Classrooms & Labs
- Female: Brown kamiz, white shalwar, white dupatta, black shoes.
- Male: White shirt, grey pants, black tie, black shoes.
- Winter: Brown sweater/coat (both genders).
- Lab sessions: White lab coat over uniform.
- Non-compliance = fine + removal from session.
6. Fee Policy:
- Fees due in the first 10 days of semester.
- Rs. 100/day fine after due date.
- Continued default = suspension & removal from rolls.
- Refunds: 50% before 15 days of start; no tuition refund after registration is sent to PNMC/KMU.
7. Scholarship Policy:
- Merit-based scholarships awarded to top 2 KMU position holders each semester (Generic BSN program).
- Covers tuition only.
- Withdrawal if attendance, conduct, or performance falls below standard.
- Final decision by Scholarship Committee.
8. Quality Assurance Policy:
- Curriculum Standards: Regular updates to match PNMC/KMU guidelines.
- Faculty Development: Continuous training programs.
- Student Assessment: Regular exams, feedback, and performance checks.
- Accreditation: Compliance with PNMC, KMU, and HEC standards.
9. Library & Learning Resources Policy:
- Books must be returned on time; fines for late/damaged books.
- Silence to be maintained.
- E-resources are for academic use only.
- Plagiarism or misuse of digital resources = disciplinary action.
10. Research & Academic Integrity Policy:
- Encourage ethical research & publications.
- Plagiarism, falsification, or data manipulation prohibited.
- All student research must have Ethical Review Committee (ERC) approval.
11. Anti-Harassment & Gender Equity Policy:
- Zero tolerance for harassment of any form (verbal, physical, cyber).
- Harassment Complaints Committee will investigate confidentially.
- Equal opportunities for all, regardless of gender, religion, or background.
12. Health, Safety & Security Policy:
- Fire safety, evacuation drills, and first aid kits available.
- Infection control guidelines must be followed in hospitals.
- Students must wear ID cards on campus.
- Unauthorized visitors prohibited.
13. IT & Social Media Policy:
- Official emails and portals must be used for academic purposes.
- Misuse of Wi-Fi, plagiarism, or cyberbullying not tolerated.
- Unauthorized media posts regarding the College are prohibited.
14. Grievance & Appeals Policy:
- Students may file complaints in writing to the Grievance Committee.
- All complaints investigated fairly and confidentially.
- Appeals against disciplinary actions may be made to the Board of Directors within 7 days.
15. Hostel & Accommodation Policy (if applicable)
- Hostel is for enrolled students only.
- Visitors are not permitted without warden approval.
- Substance abuse, misconduct, or violation = dismissal from hostel.
- Silence hours must be respected.
16. Staff Development & HR Policy:
- Faculty appointments based on PNMC/KMU rules.
- Continuous Professional Development (CPD) sessions organized.
- Annual faculty evaluation & performance reviews.
- Leave rules apply (medical, casual, study).
17. Alumni & Community Engagement Policy:
- Alumni Association to strengthen ties with graduates.
- Alumni may mentor, support research, and participate in community health programs.
- Students encouraged to join medical camps and outreach projects.

Each committee works under the Principal & Board of Directors for transparency and accountability.
19. Disciplinary Offenses & Zero Tolerance Policy:
Prohibited acts include:
- Theft, damage, or misuse of property.
- Political activities, rallies, or unauthorized gatherings.
- Violence, harassment, or substance abuse.
- Cheating, plagiarism, or exam misconduct.
- Cyber misconduct/social media misuse.
Zero Tolerance: Harassment, substance abuse, academic dishonesty, or violence will result in suspension, expulsion, or legal action.
