Program Overview
The Lady Health Visitor (LHV) program is a 2-year diploma aimed at preparing female healthcare professionals to provide maternal, child health, and community-based care services. LHVs play a crucial role in promoting family health, antenatal and postnatal care, immunization, and health education in both urban and rural areas.
The program combines classroom learning with fieldwork and clinical practice to develop skilled, community-oriented health workers.
Eligibility Criteria
- Qualification: F.Sc. Pre-Medical with minimum 50% marks
- Gender: Female only
- Age Limit: 17 to 30 years
- Admission Process: Based on merit, entry test, and interview
