To maintain academic excellence, discipline, and a professional learning environment, all students and staff of Noble College of Nursing and Medical Sciences shall strictly follow the following rules and regulations:
1. General Conduct:
- Students must uphold the dignity, decorum, and reputation of the nursing profession and the institution.
- Politeness, respect, and professional behavior are mandatory within the college, hospital, and community settings.
- Any form of misconduct, indiscipline, or misbehavior will lead to disciplinary action.
- Political activities, strikes, and group protests are strictly prohibited.
2. Attendance and Punctuality:
- A minimum of 75% attendance is mandatory in both theory and practical/clinical sessions.
- Absence without prior permission will be considered misconduct.
- Late arrival or early departure from class or clinical duty will not be tolerated.
- Students failing to meet attendance requirements will not be allowed to appear in final examinations.
3. Dress Code:
- Students must wear the prescribed uniform during class, clinical, and community postings.
- Proper grooming, hygiene, and identification badges are mandatory.
- Note: Students violating the dress code will be fined and not allowed to attend class, lab, or clinical duties.
4. Academic Integrity:
- Honesty in all academic work is expected.
- Plagiarism, cheating, falsification of documents, or impersonation in exams will result in strict disciplinary action, including expulsion.
5. Discipline and Behavior:
- Mobile phones must be on silent mode during lectures and strictly prohibited during clinical hours.
- Loud conversations, disrespectful language, or disruptive behavior will not be tolerated.
- Damage to institutional property must be compensated by the offender.
- Smoking, substance abuse, or possession of illegal items within campus is strictly prohibited.
6. Clinical and Community Conduct:
- Students must follow hospital and community rules, maintaining confidentiality and patient safety.
- Unethical or negligent behavior in patient care will lead to serious disciplinary measures.
- Clinical logbooks must be maintained and signed regularly by supervisors.
7. Examination Rules:
- Students must appear in all scheduled internal and final exams.
- Absence from exams without a valid reason and prior approval will result in zero marks.
- Any form of cheating or unfair means will lead to immediate expulsion from the examination hall and possible suspension.
8. Fee and Financial Matters:
- All fees must be paid on or before the due date.
- Late payment will incur a fine as per college policy.
- No student will be allowed to appear in examinations or receive official documents until all dues are cleared.
9. Hostel Rules (if applicable):
- Hostel residents must follow the prescribed timings, cleanliness, and visitor policies.
- Possession of prohibited items or violation of hostel discipline will lead to cancellation of hostel accommodation.
10. Grievance and Appeals:
- Students may submit written complaints or appeals to the Principal through the Year Coordinator.
- The Grievance Committee will review all complaints fairly and confidentially.
11. Disciplinary Actions:
Violation of college policies may result in:
- Verbal or written warning.
- Monetary fine.
- Suspension from class or clinical.
- Withholding of examination results.
- Termination or blacklisting from the program.
12. Final Authority:
- The decision of the Principal and Governing Body shall be final in all disciplinary and administrative matters.
13. Amendments:
- Noble College may update the rules and regulations.
- Students will be informed of changes.
- By enrolling, students agree to comply with these rules and regulations, ensuring a respectful and productive learning environment.
